Over the years, I’ve had the honor of being featured in regional food magazines, winning the Blue Ribbon at the State Home Cooks Competition (twice!), and collaborating with talented chefs on recipe challenges that stretched my creativity. I’ve been a guest on foodie podcasts, contributed to local cookbooks, and had the pleasure of seeing my photos grace the pages of some of my favorite culinary websites.
But none of that compares to the daily magic I experience when someone tries one of my recipes and shares how it brightened their table. Through triumphs and plenty of kitchen messes, I’ve learned that cooking is about so much more than instructions—it’s about discovery, memories, and the little victories that make us smile.

How It All Started
Life With Foodie began as a simple notebook on my kitchen counter. Growing up, weekends were filled with the scent of cinnamon rolls baking and laughter echoing from family dinners. My earliest memories are of helping my grandma knead bread dough and watching my mom whip up impromptu feasts for friends. Food brought us together, and I loved every second of it.
Years later, after countless recipe swaps, potluck wins, and failed soufflés, I realized that what I love most about recipes is the chance to bring joy and comfort to others. I started Life With Foodie to capture those moments, to document what worked (and what flopped), and to connect with people who share the same passion for home-cooked goodness.
Every recipe I share is part of a bigger purpose: to make delicious food accessible, to inspire creativity in the kitchen, and to help you create your own memories around the table. This site is my way of inviting you into my kitchen and hopefully sparking that same excitement I feel every time I try something new.

I’ve spent over 14 years immersed in the world of home cooking, food writing, and recipe development. My journey includes everything from working in bustling café kitchens to developing dessert menus for small local bistros and teaching cooking classes for curious beginners. Each chapter has taught me the importance of patience, precision, and pouring love into every dish.
On Life With Foodie, every recipe is tested in my own kitchen (often multiple times) and shared only when I’m truly proud of the result. I invest hours researching flavor combinations, techniques, and even food history to make sure what you see here is not only delicious but also doable at home. I never share anything I wouldn’t serve to my own family or friends.
I’m obsessed with food photography and styling, because I know you eat with your eyes first! Every photo on the site is taken by me, with the goal of showing you what the dish really looks like. I want you to feel inspired and confident—never intimidated.
Outside of recipe testing, I love exploring local farmer’s markets, experimenting with new ingredients, and traveling to taste new flavors and cuisines. These adventures constantly shape the recipes I create and keep my perspective fresh and open to new ideas.
